TEMPERING
Tempered glass (also known as toughened glass) is a type of safety glass, processed by controlled thermal treatment to increase its strength while maintaining its original thickness. By treating an annealed piece of glass with extreme heating temperatures which then gets instantly cooled, the glass transforms into a harder, more durable piece of glass. If tempered glass breaks, it fragments into pieces rather than breaking into large shards. This makes it less likely to cause serious injury. This thermal process also makes the glass resilient to heat.
TEMPERING
Laminated glass is considered a safety glass because it's difficult to break apart as the inner layer membrane forms an adhesive type material keeping all glass layers intact. Laminated glass provides additional stability to prevent damages caused by both man-made and natural forces. Laminated glass not only provides protection from physical force but can also be used to prevent noise pollution for sound control. In addition, various custom coloured films can be used to regulate UV light while visually creating a dramatic effect. With laminated glass you can generate countless possibilities that meet both form and function.
SANDBLASTING (Solid & Design)
Sandblasting is a process that creates an obscured "white" finish that can be used for either a solid privacy effect or any design/logo as required by our clients. Sandblasted designs can be used both as single panels or incorporated into sealed thermal units to be used in various applications such as French doors, exterior doorlites, patio doors, kitchen cabinets and wall partitions.
